Hello, CentralTime301. Welcome to the Wikimedia Meta-Wiki! This website is for coordinating and discussing all Wikimedia projects. You may find it useful to read our policy page. If you are interested in doing translations, visit Meta:Babylon. You can also leave a note on Meta:Babel or Wikimedia Forum if you need help with something (please read the instructions at the top of the page before posting there). Happy editing!

Sgd. Hasley 18:11, 6 March 2020 (UTC)

Hasley (talk · contribs) ok I guess. You're welcome! --CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 18:17, 6 March 2020 (UTC)

What was that supposed to be?

Please stay away from my talk page. If you need a page to play around with, use your own one. It is neither appreciated, nor in any way appropriate to edit other users' talk pages, other than for taking part in a discussion. --თოგო (D) 19:08, 6 March 2020 (UTC)

Thogo, I was trying to test a script to close discussions but I accidentally did that on your talk page (which I have to stay away from). I am sorry and won't do that again. --CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 19:11, 6 March 2020 (UTC)

Hello

Hello, per above thread, meta is not for testing. If possible refrain from testing here. You are welcomed to contribute, and I see you are translating some pages, that's good. I hope you aren't using the machine translation though, they are inaccurate and need to be vetted before publishing. Regards,--Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 19:31, 6 March 2020 (UTC)

Okay, but I was trying to put so me scripts on my .js file. And that I even left an edit summary (translating) to translate (but not the machine translation). CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 20:55, 6 March 2020 (UTC)
Just take it slowly here, regards.--Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 07:05, 7 March 2020 (UTC)
Camouflaged Mirage, I have a question: what do you mean I have to take it slowly here? --CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 14:17, 7 March 2020 (UTC)
Hola.
--CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 21:03, 7 March 2020 (UTC)
Thanks Hasley for answering in part for me (per google translate), I will say take it slowly means not to do things you are unsure of and to slowly learn from others. Meta isn't a testing ground or learning place per say, and people tend to be angry when you do something out of what the community wants. Even I am still learning each day and keep on remind myself not to do things I am unsure of. I am happy to help you and both of us are administrators here, feel free to ask us what questions you have and all the best. Sorry I cannot speak your language. :)--Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 06:40, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
Camouflaged Mirage it's OK! I also speak English too (see above)! Anyway, I signed up to part of a translating group (a day or hours ago) in Meta but how am I supposed to take it slowly in the machine translating? You said that it needs to be vetted prior to publishing. :\ CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 14:32, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
Recuerda, quality over quantity. Si tienes una duda, consúltame. —Sgd. Hasley 15:31, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
--CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 15:45, 8 March 2020 (UTC)

English Wikipedia EC

@CentralTime301, don’t you have extended confirmed rights on the English Wikipedia? Also, on English Wikipedia, make an unblock request in 3 months under the standard offer. I would, but I had my TPA revoked on both this IP and my account. the IP block was extended from being 1.5 more months to being reset to 6 months. The intial block was 2 months. 47.16.99.72 19:09, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

@47.16.99.72: I do have extended confirmed rights on the English Wikipedia (but a little note was that my previous block was 1 year and now is indefinite). CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 19:11, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
First off, it is still me, I just created an account on Meta. Secondly, the block is indefinite, so you should be elligable. I would recommend waiting 9 months for a total of a year, as then you’d be 15 and would have matured. Also, why was it extended? I am 13, so I would know it too, but I was blocked for sockpuppetry there. Contest it with the standard offer, you should be eligible in July, I would recommend doing it in December or January. Gale5050 (talk) 15:40, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
@Gale5050: first of all, in the English Wikipedia I had to be blocked for 1 year because of multiple issues. On January 15, 2020 I was caught for block evasion using 2 IPs so that's why some sysop changed my block settings (expiry formerly 1 year and has no expiry set at all). In addition to that date prior to the indefinite block, some editor made a sock puppet investigation about me saying possible block evasion. Some sysop realized I was the sockpuppet master of these IPs and that's why my block is indefinite. Oh, and after I replied at your message I will check your CentralAuth. --CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 15:46, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
In that case, @CentralTime301, wait at least 1 year before the standard offer. But I’d recommend 2, to show you really matured. An administrator will give me TPA back in September to make Standard Offer appeal. I also contacted User: Bbb23 on Meta. Hopefully I do not get blocked. But I tried to be very civil with him. This is also my 10th edit on Meta. Gale5050 (talk) 15:49, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
@Gale5050: I believe Bbb23 may or may not respond to your email. When I checked your CentralAuth, it says on en.wikipedia.org that you are blocked indefinitely with account creation blocked, email disabled and cannot edit your own talk page, with the block reason saying: {{checkuserblock-account}}: user sending threatening e-mail. I hope you didn't send "threatening email".   Comment about that they will decline my unblock request in the English Wikipedia after waiting so long after being matured. --CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 15:59, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
@CentralTime301, I did not send a threatening eMail, I just said he did not assume good faith via eMail for revoking my TPA. He thought I was threatening him with a warning when I came back(which I tried to do via block evasion on 3/13, but Favonian immediately blocked that IP for a year.) I did not send a threatening eMail, I just think he thought it was inappropriate, but did not want to say that as that was how I got TPA revoked. Gale5050 (talk) 16:03, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
@Gale5050:   Comment about: the words in that email did sound threatening so that's why Bbb23 had to disable email after revoking your TPA. --CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 16:06, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

I guess you are right. Also, I am worried as since I did commit sockpuppetry twice, I can get banned on Andrew5 due to WP: 3X. I think he knew it was a Sockpuppet since February 28 at 01:40 UTC but was not confirmed till 18:21 UTC on March 3. My original block was not here to build an encyclopedia at 19:38 UTC on February 27, 2020 Gale5050 (talk) 16:09, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

PS let’s stop indenting for now. We can start again but it will get too small if we continue. Also, I tried talking to him in a calmer way on Meta. Gale5050 (talk) 16:10, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

Btw, Bbb23 blocked me at first sight as he did see a warning about an edit I made on Power of 2. Also, he called me a troll, so I guess that angered me too. Gale5050 (talk) 16:14, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
Comment: when did Bbb23 called you a "troll"? Note that I'm not being offensive to you. --CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 16:22, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

This is what Bbb23 said. “ Note to administrators. First, I believe Gale5050 is a troll. Some of their edits make that obvious + the obsession with the protection policy. Second, they edited significantly and abusively while logged out.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:37, 27 February 2020 (UTC)””. Gale5050 (talk) 16:46, 21 March 2020 (UTC) I think that was when he first suspected me of sockpuppetry. Gale5050 (talk) 16:46, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
@CentralTime301, can you make it so that it says you have extended confirmed, not auto confirmed, rights on the English Wikipedia? Gale5050 (talk) 16:50, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
Comment: what do you mean I have to "make it"? --CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 17:03, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
@CentralTime301, I mean fix it so it says extended confirmed not autoconfirmed 1:12 PM Eastern Time Gale5050 (talk)
@Gale5050: only there is extended confirmed on the English Wikipedia (500 edits or more within a month). --CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 17:16, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

I know, only put it for English Wikipedia. I don’t know when, but I will tell you-I will be off Wikipedia for 3 hours so if you contact me it’ll be 3 hours till you get a reply Gale5050 (talk) 17:39, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

Because my eMail is on a different phone, I will not be able to look at your eMail for a while, because of Coronavirus. I will tell you the date I can see your eMail Gale5050 (talk) 17:41, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

Oh, by the way @CentralTime301, the reason why I did a different eMail address was because I thought they were able to catch me sockpuppeting because of my eMail address. I did not know they used IP addresses to check. See, I live only 25 miles in the Coronavirus capital of the world, Manhattan. Gale5050 (talk) 18:40, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

By the way it's cool but for now I don't need to know that. We don't need to see each other's personal info. --CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 17:56, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

Your right, @CentralTime301, I’ll take it down. Also, I will tell you when I see your eMail. When will you make Standard Offer appeal? I would recommend not doing it on 7/16 after six months but instead waiting till 1/16, a year after block evasion. Mine will be either on 9/17 or 9/21, depending on if making a UTRS appeal resets the timer. Actually, does it? But yeah you should know I live in the Coronavirus capital of America Gale5050 (talk) 18:40, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

I will do that a year after I was caught for block evasion (1/15 2020) but what reason will I have to put in the unblock request? They might decline the request. --CentralTime301 (Discussion/Contributions) 18:45, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

Ok. But for me, if it ain't broke which I unfortunately did, don't fix it (not you, myself). CT301 talkcontributions 18:44, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
In addition, when reporting grossly insulting names to SRG, please do it manually and use parameter hidename=1. I had to RD one of your edits completely as well as the summary. If you are using twinkle global, please click the hide username. Thanks.Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 18:46, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
Okay maybe next time but was already blocked by Hasley. Thanks. CT301 talkcontributions 18:47, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
You know that sending to SRG is for Global locks? Please please take it slowly here thanks. And to be honest, go to a content project and contribute. Meta isn't for people who are totally new. Thanks much.Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 18:49, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
