Talk:Wikimedia Conference 2015/Programme team
Divisions by tracks

About the division by tracks
edit1: Would be great, from my point of view, to define as much, 4 o 5 topics to focus the conference.
2: We can prepare in advance the tentative agenda to be discussed by the communitty and defined after analizing the opinions.
3: We can learn from each other, as you say, and we can work together, a half day to share experiences and to foster actions between chapter would be great: a more inclusive movement must be a main objetive of the conference
4: Strategic Planning, funding, projects management, metrics and evaluation and establishment of common main strategic lines regarding the movement would be great as workshops.--Anna Torres (WMAR) (talk) 14:26, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
Meeting with the BoT
editI don't know how enough productive these meetings (in Q&A format) with the entire BoT are. Maybe having some Board members (and Lila) at a general discussion panel, with some staff members, and maybe some representatives from the chapters would save precious time we can use for other meetings and trainings. --Maor X (talk) 16:10, 30 December 2014 (UTC)
- I'd appreciate a different thing, too. Alice Wiegand (talk) 12:11, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
- The Board will be present with probably 5-6 members and we are looking forward to meet you, listen to you and discuss and debate with you. Our intention is to add some kind of "extra" to the meeting, some active participation rather than being there but not involved. We would be happy to get your ideas about how that could look like. I'm here to coordinate with yuo, you can contact me per mail or prepare this part of the meeting here on meta. Alice Wiegand (talk) 15:35, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
Moving forward with conference tracks
editBased on today's conference call, I would like to move forward with researching the conference tracks. Each track will be developed by groups of 2–3 people who will research the issues affecting each track and identify what specific issue should be addressed. This work should be done by January 31. Please sign up for a track below; if not enough people sign up, I will start volunteering people. Feel free to consult the notes on Etherpad. harej (talk) 23:36, 30 December 2014 (UTC)
