Why are we still depending on external services?

2606:54c0:76a0:1c0::f:1c8 is my unsigned account, as sometimes I forget to sign in. Will you please have Jon Kolbert to unblock 2606:54c0:76a0:1c0::f:1c8? The user viewed 2606:54c0:76a0:1c0::f:1c8 as a vandal and I do not vandalize any page on this Wikipedia at all. If 2606:54c0:76a0:1c0::f:1c8 is blocked, then I can’t edit on this site. What if someone put false information on my favorite pages and I’m unable to correct it? I’m angry with Jon Kolbert for over-blocking. I will sign in next time.

Hello I've just received a message that my IP address has been blocked while I was trying to create a WikiGap redlist on Igbo Wikiqoute for my community Igbo Wikimedians User Group. Please, I would like to find out the reason why. We're starting a WikiGap Challenge on the 13th of March and being blocked is going to halt our activities. I'm a Wikipedian in Residence and also having a training this evening at 6:00p.m on how to translate articles on Wikipedia.

There are many unblock requests in this page, what indicate there is a link in somewhere point to here as a place to request unblock, but I am not finding where, I want to correct the link.
