The main event started on 26 January 2023, the first training day. The day began with a friendly space policy, an Ice breaker session and a brief formal introduction of the attendees or participants.

The first session was led by Tanveer Hasan with a general discussion around "Five Pillars of Wikipedia"- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, a neutral point of view, Wikipedia is free content that anyone can use edit and distribute, Wikipedia's editors should treat each other with respect and civility and Wikipedia has no firm rules. The Five Pillars was divided into five groups and distributed one pillar to each group after 15 mins, each group presented views and understandings about one picked pillar. The discussion was around are these pillars are valid or not, if the groups want to change any among them what kind of change it will be or why? Did the participants or groups ever feel these policies in their life etc?

The second session was taken by User:Neechalkaran about the HotTemp template. The presenter or trainer introduced the template, its importance of it and how to use it and a demonstration of the template and share the link of it as well. The second topic was Voice typing presented by Neechalkaran and he introduced to use of the tool and demonstration how one can use voice to input words, link was also provided.

The third and last session was led by User:mouryan. He introduced the participants to basic tools to use and demonstrate them as well. The first tool was, Wikipedia:Twinkle which provided the link to know more about speedy deletion, (https://bn.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_tiger_anaikatti Example article) was also given. The second topic was Help: Hotcat which was about why, how to use and from where it can be on.

After the introduction and demonstration, participants or trainees followed the process and tested the template. There was also a Q&A session around templates and attendees asked questions to the trainer. Here is the presentation of the session.

He also let trainees know to add the scripts to work on all global Wikimedia language pages. Jinoy also provided the scripts which participants could add to the common.js pages [//Script// mw.loader.load("//www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=User:Yair rand/WikidataInfo.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript");]. There was a task done to add Maps to NH in India. The trainer also introduces attendees to ways to add Maps to Wikipedia articles using the simple template. The slide link is here.
