- Ricerca': C'è un individuo o un gruppo che conduce indagini o discussioni su un'idea per uno hub. Ci sono delle sovvenzioni dedicate a questa fase.
- Pianificazione / Discussione: L'idea dello hub è abbastanza definita dalla fase precedente e gli individui o il gruppo leader hanno iniziato una conversazione per decidere i prossimi passi. La pianificazione e le discussioni si sovrappongono, dato che molta della pianificazione può richiedere discussioni pubbliche. Ci sono sovvenzioni dedicate a questa fase.
- Prototipo: C'è uno hub dotato di risorse e funzionante su scala sperimentale.
- Implementation: Systematic steps to create the organisation.

We like to see DEIH as a global alliance on diversity, a wiki union and engagement to fill the gaps, the community's diversity department.
