This project not only aims to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women in Africa but also addresses the gender gap in information representation. By focusing on enhancing the visibility of African women on Wikipedia and Wikidata. It's important to acknowledge and elevate the voices of women on International Women's Day. Through the programme, African women's accomplishments in a variety of fields will be more accurately represented by supporting the creation and improvement of Wikipedia entries and Wikidata items about them.
