Welcome to Meta! edit
Hello Xoser~metawiki, and welcome to the Wikimedia Meta-Wiki! This website is for coordinating and discussing all Wikimedia projects. You may find it useful to read our policy page. If you are interested in doing translations, visit Meta:Babylon. You can also leave a note on Meta:Babel or Wikimedia Forum (please read the instructions at the top of the page before posting there). Happy editing!
Hi Xoser edit
Quick summary of our discussion... There are basically three possible resolutions:
- All parties decide on a standard language variant to write in on the wiki
- All parties agree that it's acceptable to write in multiple language variants on the same wiki, without prejudice
- Separate wikis are created for each language variant
Traditionally, many Wikipedias have opted towards allowing multiple variants together, particularly where there's a larger community and good mutual intelligibility. There is often though a strong temptation to separation -- marking off a smaller, tighter community which links national or ethnic identity with a linguistic pride; this impulse is natural, but should be examined to see whether it's the best way to serve the community.
If a consensus can't be reached, some form of mediation will be required. My recommendation would be to start with the language committee, which should be familiar with these general issues. If a clear decision can't be reached there, things get murkier -- we don't really have a strong community arbitration process for Wikimedia outside of those wikis which have set one up locally (English Wikipedia etc).
Ultimately, the community involved will need to make its own decision as a group, whether to come to a direct decision or to choose a mediating/arbitrating authority. --brion 18:49, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
Your complaint edit
Hi Xoser, I have received your complaint at my de-wiki discussion page and I am going to deal with it, you will hear more from me in a couple of days. --Tinz 21:52, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for your answer Tinz. I look forward to hearing from you. --Xoser 06:25, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
You abused policies in Zazaki Wikipedia edit
You blocked my account. However, as you know (possibly you don't know policies) you don't have any rights to block my account because of en:WP:INVOLVED. I only pointed out Kurdish ethnocentric POV pushing edits by some users (including you) at diq:Kurdistan (rojname) and neutralized article according to provided sources. You and some users deformed article by their own ethnic POVs. You must read en:Wikipedia:Neutral point of views and must stop Kurdish ethnocentric biased edits. - You have been blocked multiple times on multiple wikipedia projects at least by more that 10 different sysops. The total amount of your block time is much more than one year. I only blocked you for one day for edit wars and vandalism. I can tell you that I was more easygoing compared to other Sysops. Anyways, I hope you will contribute in more constructive ways in the future to Wikipedia projects --Xoser (talk) 14:42, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

Dear Xoser, since you are an administrator on a wiki from which no user participated in this discussion, I'd like to make sure you are aware of some recent events which may alter what the Wikimedia Foundation lets you do on your wiki: Superprotect.
- Request for comment: Requests for comment/Superprotect rights
- An open letter about its implementation: Letter to Wikimedia Foundation: Superprotect and Media Viewer
Your account will be renamed edit
Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Xoser. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Xoser~metawiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
