Welcome to Meta!
Hello, Ptolusque. Welcome to the Wikimedia Meta-Wiki! This website is for coordinating and discussing all Wikimedia projects. You may find it useful to read our policy page. If you are interested in doing translations, visit Meta:Babylon. You can also leave a note on Meta:Babel or Wikimedia Forum if you need help with something (please read the instructions at the top of the page before posting there). Also worthwhile acquainting yourself with the functions of global user pages. Happy editing!

soweego project: call for supportEdit
Remember the Wikidata primary sources tool? Thanks to your support, my team has recently started building its next version (yes, the grant process took a long time). A couple of new features are deployed, so feel free to give them a try.
I'm reaching out to draw your attention on a new use case for the tool. The main goal is to add a massive amount of identifiers to Wikidata, ensuring live maintenance of links.
Do you think that Wikidata should become the central linking hub of open knowledge? If so, I'd be really grateful if you could endorse the soweego project:
You just have to click on the blue button in the infobox. Of course, any other comment is more than welcome on the discussion page.
Looking forward to your valuable feedback.
Mix'n'match and soweego: call for supportEdit
soweegocatalogs are in Mix'n'match.
- Why don't you show your support with a star?
First, thank you for being a Mix'n'match user.
Does the name
soweego ring you a bell?
It's a machine learning system that links Wikidata to large catalogs .
It's a close friend of Mix'n'match, which mainly caters for small catalogs.
The latest catalogs uploaded by soweego need some love: why don't you check them out?
If you are a music enthusiast, Discogs and MusicBrainz are what you need: musicians , , bands , , and records , .
Are you passionate about cinema? IMDb is there with actors , directors , musicians , producers , writers , and movies .
I would be really grateful if you could support soweego with a GitHub star:
The Wikimedia LGBTQ+ User Group is holding online working days in May. If you’re an active Wikimedian, editing on LGBTQ+ issues or if you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, come help us set goals, develop our organisation and structures, consider how to respond to issues faced by Queer editors, and plan for the next 12 months.
We will be meeting online for 3 half-days, 14–16 May at 1400–1730 UTC. While our working language is English, we are looking to accommodate users who would prefer to participate in other languages, including translation facilities.
More information, and registration details, at QW2021.--Wikimedia LGBT+ User Group 15:46, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
