My opinion

I understand whole situation. I believe that would be better to resolve first all issues and after that you can request GR again. I didn't even vote against your request because I think that you have enough cross-wiki experience. Translator, We need you!

Dear Mjbmr,

You have helped us in previous years with translations and for that we are most grateful. Now we turn towards the 2011/12 fundraiser. It may seem forever away, but work has already begun getting everything ready to go. This year we want to have landing pages covering as many countries in as many languages as possible.

Right now, we want to figure out who is interested in translating for the fundraiser. This year we're hoping to have more of a solidified "core" group of translators that we can count on to have work done by a few key dates, but we'd also welcome help from people who are willing to just help out when they can.

If you would be interested please take a look at this little sign-up survey and fill it out http://survey.wikimedia.org/index.php?sid=13638&newtest=Y&lang=en. With that we can start building a list of people and filling any gaps in the languages we serve.

Sorry, you might think it's off topic I didn't want bring this matters either but a lot of people came here just to make their voice hear, but no one listened, and blocked for no reason, there is a local policy that says people with CU access must not picked from list of people who live in Iran, but do you deny stewards can CU?, in either ways was my request related to that wiki?  Mjbmr (discussion • contribs) 13:15, 20 December 2014 (UTC)

Re: fa.wikinews uploads

Hi, the WMF has no business in this, it "only" set the Licensing policy. The reason the fa.news policy you talk about was ignored is that it wasn't listed in Non-free_content#Wikinews. In fact, it still is not: I've added the information you provided (that's useful), but the poll you linked only talks of enabling upload, not of an EDP. Where is the policy which allows to upload unfree files? --Nemo 14:40, 25 December 2014 (UTC)

I don't do email replies. I don't do advanced administrative business through my email or my talk page. I handle steward's business through the steward request pages, or via the stewards{@}}wikimedia.org email address. If you have a meta oversight request then please use the email address meta-oversightwikimedia.org. Such business then has a record of an event, and procedural fairness, and is how I do business and keep things fair and reasonable.
