Hi, you added users there directly. However, it is necessary to wait for the bot to add users which need to be checked. Otherwise it won't work properly. --MF-W 19:10, 8 February 2016 (UTC)

Range block
editHi there,
I´m not allowed to change any mistakes and it says that my IP is blocked on all wiki pages. And the side tells me, that you blocked me for something called "Open proxy: + 184.95.55.18". And that is not even my IP. Why did you block me? I got no idea what the problem was... And why for almost three years?? Sounds a little harsh for not even doing something.

Confirmation discussions
editDear RadiX,
As you probably know, the confirmation discussions for Stewards have been closed. In order to determine the outcome of these discussions, you are invited to comment on Talk:Stewards/Confirm/2016 before scheduled closure of the confirmation section "one week after the appointment of the newly elected stewards" (Sunday 6th of March, 17:22 UTC), though the closing time might be extended at the ElectCom's discretion for an extra week if it is believed "further input is required before concluding". All stewards are welcome to comment, including those newly elected.
For those who ran for confirmation, consider revising comments regarding you, and replying to those where appropriate. Savhñ 08:01, 4 March 2016 (UTC)

We need advice
editDear RadiX, I am writing to you from Serbo-Croatian Wikipedia. We are in the middle of a dilemma - the heatly debated topic being how to attribute articles which were translated from English Wikipedia. Since there is no consensus, I thought we should ask someone from the Wikipedia hierarchy. I wonder: who can we contact to give us guidelines? What is the right procedure? If you wish, I will gladly clarify and give you more info.--Seiya (talk) 12:48, 15 March 2016 (UTC)
- Hello, Seiya.
- I am not so experienced in import of articles across Wikimedia projects. Maybe you could get some extra help by placing your intentions at Meta talk:Babylon or Help Forum. :)

RFC questions
edit@RadiX: Good afternoon. I've started a request for comments to replace the inactive SPCom by stewards on this page. How many participants are needed to close and accept the RFC ? And how can I promote it ? Thank you Archi38 (talk) 11:02, 8 April 2016 (UTC) PS: sorry for ping, but most of people don't read their talk page.
- @Archi38: The participants can propose to end an RfC at any (reasonable) time if consensus is reached. However, uninvolved editors may want to close it earlier or extend it for a longer period depending on the needs and on how much interest the matter under discussion has been raised.
- There are no rules regarding the number of participants, because the outcome should be determined by weighing the merits of the arguments, and not strictly on vote-counting or majority rule.

Блокировка/Block
Yandex.Translate (sorry for the translator):
Hello! I appeal to you with a request to unlock my IP address. The lock is imposed for a reason: Cross-wiki spam: spambot. I should note that in the Wikipedia I did not make any questionable edits, so I think a lock is misplaced. Perhaps, my e-mail is infected with a malicious program however lately any letters with my email never sent. E-mail I have changed. Please, please remove the block, or directly (not using bot) to show me my/mine breach/violation, for which I received a three-month lock on the entire wiki space. Thanks. editI think you'll find none of that was in any way a "personal attack" simply the truth. I asked two fairly simple questions. I.e. why was I blocked and for your email address. They are in no way unreasonable things to ask of anyone. Considering I've done very little wrong (I was originally blocked several years ago due to the arrogance and petulance of an administrator who took a personal dislike to me purely because they/he/she wanted pages to be edited their way and no other way, which is immature in itself. That kind of culture is unfair alone. I made at east 350 articles including entire family lines (Italian, French to be precise) and even got one article to a "good article" status, but things like that seem to be conveniently overlooked. As noted I am another living breathing human being, with feelings Please do the decent thing and just help me. I'm literally begging. :( 92.24.33.65 13:25, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- As far I can see, you are blocked indefinitely in five Wikimedia wikis, and your global account is currently locked since 2010. You'd better talk to the steward who has locked your account first. Last but not least, please try to be polite and adhere to good wiki etiquette when talking to users. I do not accept any sort of personal attack on my talk page. Regards, RadiX∞ 23:25, 29 October 2016 (UTC)
- Greetings! I only just saw your reply (I didn't think you would and kind of gave up checking) so sorry for the lateness. Alas, to be totally honest I have not really been rude to you on a personal level at all, I only re-edited your talk page here in order to get a reply. So if I've overly offended you I am sorry. As I've said above I'm kind of desperate. I can't even remember why I was blocked to be honest :/ (I had a brain injury and five strokes in July of 2012 which has completely effed up my memory as a whole and as a result of the injury I'm somewhat short fused, particularly if I feel I'm not being listened to. (Not your problem in the slightest I know, I just feel like I should try to explain) I just gtried to edit your talkpage on Enwiki and it says that I've been blocked by "User:Favonian". It just infuriates me that I made at least 350 pages on Wikipedia in several different languages and even helped to get one page to a good article status (West Wycombe Park, I used to work there) but those enormous and positive contributions are conveniently overlooked.
t or how I edit Which is in itself totally unfair. I kind of feel that just because he/she does not personally agree with what or how I edit he/she being an admin vcan easily get away with blocking me for their own convenience. I was under the impression that Wikipedia was for everyone as opposed to a privalaged few who can treat others any way they wish. That is not fair. I'm a person too.

No renaming between November 20 and November 27
editHi,
You’re getting this because you’re a steward or global renamer. The Community Tech team are working on cross-wiki watchlists. We need to add a couple of fields to the localuser table in centralauth database. In order to be able to do this, we’d need to run a script that will get in the way of renaming users. Our apologies – we realize this is getting in the way of your work.
We ask that you do not rename anyone between 00:00 November 20 (UTC) and 00:00 November 27 (UTC).
(UTC means that if you live in the Americas, it will be on the evening or afternoon of November 19 when the script starts running, and if you live in Oceania or eastern Asia, it can be closer midday on November 27 before we can be sure the script is no longer running.)
If there are any problems related to this, or you have any questions, please write me on my talk page. /Johan (WMF) (talk) via MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 19:39, 17 November 2016 (UTC)
