Employees

edit

Maybe this was not made explicit: "employees" should be only those who have a more or less permanent working relation with the organization, not e.g. free lancers hired for a specific purpose. Ziko (talk) 18:27, 29 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Virtual office - that sounds interesting! Could you explain what that means? Ziko (talk) 20:07, 18 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

It's a service that offers an official address and a mailbox to a company or organization that does not have anyone actually residing on that address. Sometimes they also offer the services of a secretary who would answer a phone and forward the calls. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_office --Oop (talk) 10:11, 19 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Documentation about WMF office in India

edit

What documentation exists about the WMF office in India mentioned in this 2011 video?

Thanks. Blue Rasberry (talk) 10:52, 28 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

There never was a WMF office in India. It was an idea briefly considered by the Foundation during the 2009-2010 strategic process, and ultimately rejected. Asaf (WMF) (talk) 19:26, 28 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
