editAre there points for creating an original article (not a translation) that is not on the bonus list? Gamaliel (talk) 14:00, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
- Gamaliel Of course you get points also for creating an original article! You get 1 point per thousand bytes for any new article created or improved upon, about women. Eric Luth (WMSE) (talk) 16:19, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
bonus article
editIf I translate one of the bonus article, I will get 15 points or 5? I mean as creating new proposal content, i just looked at example collecting points and I didn't understand. > Kushared (talk) 20:03, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
- Kushared Thanks for asking for clarifications! You get 5 points for any translation. If it is new content, and a bonus article, you get an additional 15 points. As it says, the points are cumulative, and your example means both translation and adding bonus article to a new language! Hope that makes it clearer! Eric Luth (WMSE) (talk) 09:18, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
- If it is a bonus article, the points are also doubled. So it means (5 + 15 + (nk bytes) ) x2 = 40 + 2n kbytes? TiagoLubiana (talk) 15:32, 13 March 2020 (UTC)

editWhat's the scope?
editHi... can I translate any women's biography to my wiki language, or the scope will only be around women activists? That is, can I translate biographies about women politicians, nobility, etc, or must I do it only about activists? Tuga1143 (talk) 11:35, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Tuga1143! You can write articles on any woman – but the bonus points will be applicable only on women in the list of activists! Eric Luth (WMSE) (talk) 12:44, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
- Great! Thank you so much for the quick answer Eric Luth (WMSE)!!! Tuga1143 (talk) 15:39, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
Points
editSo if I add 7000 b at once, is it 1 P or 3 P? Yomomo (talk) 14:01, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Yomomo! It is 1P. But don't forget to nominate an improvement you're especially proud of to the challenge on best article! 14:22, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
