Global preferences

edit

@Trizek (WMF): Can you please add a Phabricator or Gerrit link? It makes the change easier to understand (and also I can find when will the change happen – I know that it will have been deployed by Monday, but currently I get a “no such special page” error). —Tacsipacsi (talk) 20:09, 20 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

GlobalPreferences will be deployed today between 22:00–23:00 UTC. Phabricator task is phab:T184121. Stryn (talk) 20:36, 20 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Tacsipacsi, I've just copied it from translators-l for the draft phrase. Keegan (WMF) is supposed to add more details soon. Trizek (WMF) (talk) 08:25, 21 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
And if anyone is wondering, it's not yet deployed, the deployment will happen today according to wikitech:Deployments#deploycal-item-20180321T2200. Stryn (talk) 14:11, 21 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
It won't go out until the recently identified bugs have been resolved. I've removed it from this week's Tech News edition. Thanks all. Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 18:16, 23 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Johan. (a) We can see that the new deployment will be in January, please mark the new version to translation. (b) There is no such a page Special:Pages, what did you mean? Thank you. IKhitron (talk) 00:00, 26 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi IKhitron, I didn't prepare this issue, Quiddity did. I'm just now back after a couple of weeks spent mostly off-wiki. Quiddity? /Johan (WMF) (talk) 15:35, 26 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hi IKhitron. (a) done. (b) Ah, that was meant to imply "all special pages". Elitre changed it and I have now marked it for translation but without invalidating previous translations. Thanks. Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 16:04, 26 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thanks a lot. IKhitron (talk) 16:34, 26 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
I'll give it some extra time before I deliver it to give folks a chance to translate this, if there was any extra confusion. /Johan (WMF) (talk) 16:43, 26 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
