Hello. I'd like to request for translation adminship. I need the translation adminship as part of the Education Newsletter work. Starting January 2022, we are going to prepare all our articles for translation. Ping SPatnaik (WMF) for official confirmation. Thanks in advance. -- Regards, ZI Jony (Talk) 09:36, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
- Support, ZI Jony is part of the newsletter team of the EduWiki Outreach Collaborators, getting translation admin rights will help us to provide translation support to the education newsletter. --SPatnaik (WMF) (talk) 09:43, 18 January 2022 (UTC)

- Can you prepare a page for translation in compliance with Meta’s guidelines and link it here so that we can review your tagging, please? --Pols12 (talk) 19:28, 18 January 2022 (UTC)

- Thank you. 🙂 I Support your application. However, I have fixed two minor issue in the page you linked: the header template values are displayed inline (at least `Article title` and `Summary`), so translate tags should not contain any new line character, because this would generate `div` tags (blocks) in translation page instead of `span` tags (inline). Also, a space was present on empty line before last paragraph, which would prevent this unit segmenting (but you can’t guess it unless you have enabled syntax highlighting). -- Pols12 (talk) 15:10, 19 January 2022 (UTC)

- No problem. I have always thought the grant of TA flag on metawiki takes too much time, as on other multilingual projects, it just require one crat, no vote for most cases and no minimum wait time limitation. Stang 17:11, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
