This is a self-nom. I've been active on en.wikipedia and have been an admin there since June. I am going to be creating the new main page for Wikimania 2006 along with other things on Meta. I am currently asking for temporary adminship in addition to having an RFA with the intent of being able to be useful in the future without having to bug people for permissions.
