Meta:Requests for adminship/Aude
- The following discussion is preserved as an archive of a closed Meta-Wiki request. Please do not modify it.
- Discussion to end at or after 01:03, 28 February 2011 (UTC).
- Requirements
- Be an administrator, bureaucrat, or checkuser on a local Wikipedia or related project. Admin on English Wikipedia, since 2006; Admin on Wikimedia Commons since 2007.
- Have a user page on Meta, with links to the user pages on other participated projects. Have both a wikimatrix and a SUL unified account.
- Have a valid contact address. You can contact me via Special:Emailuser/Aude
- Currently an active contributor on Meta. Yes, I'm especially active editing Wikimania pages, Wikimedia DC (future) and NYC chapters pages, also helped out with the 2010 fundraiser, often "stalk" Special:Recentchanges here to see what's new, and do whatever else I can to be helpful.
- Language boxes I'm a native English speaker, but also know intermediate-advanced Arabic and some Spanish. Languages are noted on my user page.
I am interesting in becoming an admin on Meta-Wiki, in order to be useful with whatever tasks I see need to be done. That way I can just do them rather than try to hunt down another admin or just post on the Meta:Requests for help from a sysop or bureaucrat. I'm happy to keep an eye on that requests page when I can.
In 2004, I joined English Wikipedia, became an admin there in 2006 and on Wikimedia Commons in 2007. I'm also an admin and have helped out on Outreach and Ten Wiki. I had temporary adminship on Meta-Wiki during the recent fundraiser to help out with those pages. As well, I edit some on Arabic Wikipedia and increasingly will do so as my language skills have improved a lot, doing maintenance and cleanup.
I hope that in my time here, I have gained your trust that I won't abuse the tools, will use good judgment, and be generally helpful around Meta-Wiki. Cheers. Aude 01:03, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
