Hello there! I would like to apply for sysop rights on meta. I am a sysop and ArbCom member on plwiki, global rollbacker and global renamer. I also fight xwiki vandalism and would like to do that here as well. So I'm going to look regularly into WM:RFH or CAT:DEL and support the sysops here in that, and gather more new experience myself. I just intend to use these rights. Let me know if you have any objections. AramilFeraxa (Write to me!) 11:39, 13 April 2024 (UTC)

- Weak support - I was a bit split here. On one hand, there isn't much involvement in administrative stuff, speedy deletion taggings (and so on) here at Meta. Most of the candidate's involvement in Meta-Wiki have been on Steward requests pages and GSR, and that's typically the last place where local administrators operate. But, I do think Meta adminship can be given out quite liberally, and to be honest I almost think that it can be given on request to users who are active on Meta, trusted and sysop on a large wiki. The candidate meets these criteria, with admin experience as a sysop on plwiki (a large wiki) and a GR/GRN and I don't see a problem if they want to help out. So, in the end I'm going ahead and giving a weak support. EPIC (talk) 12:18, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
- So it's not just about requesting global locks to stewards and deletions/blockings to the GSs and being an admin on a large-scale project, but I have a question to ask: do trusted users (who patrol this project) rarely become admins here without being an admin on any content wiki, but they hold at least one or more advanced permissions on the project they are active in (e.g. edit filter helper on the English Wikipedia or filter administrator [administrador de filtros] in the Spanish Wikipedia)? - Kind of, yes. We've had a few precedents before, but there's a note on the RfA page that "If a candidate is not already a local administrator or holder of advanced permissions on a Wikimedia content project, they are less likely to pass a request for adminship here at Meta-Wiki".
