Discussion edit

As a Board member (WMCAT) and also part of the coordination of this strategy process, it's of a major importance for us to reach the Catalan-speaking community to get as maximum feedback as possible. We aim to target both readers and editors in all the Wikimedia projects in this language. As Toniher said, we apologise for not posting the request before, but we would need it to be implemented asap. Thanks in advance. Xavi Dengra (MESSAGES) 00:11, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I Agree. The banner will give a boost in visibility that will benefit the campaign, and also the 2030 strategy.--TaronjaSatsuma (talk) 08:05, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Central Notice admin comments edit

Note: If a community member doesn't get to this, I can put this campaign up later this week. Seddon (WMF) (talk) 00:46, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Seddon, let us know if anything else may be needed... --Toniher (talk) 18:42, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Seddon (WMF): I'd kindly ask to speed up the campaign as soon as possible. Thank you very much in advance. Xavi Dengra (MESSAGES) 13:25, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
In case @Seddon (WMF): would be unavailable, could any other admin take care? I ping @Martin Urbanec: and @Ilario: for help. Apologies if not following proper procedure. Thanks in advance!
Now that we already included local banners in the projects, I'd like to remark the disappointment as we didn't receive any further news from anyone. Especially for those that work with a salary from the Wikimedia Foundation and don't accomplish properly or in time. Hope that you consider this complaint: it has been almost 15 days... (!) Xavi Dengra (MESSAGES) 12:49, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Xavier Dengra: - Apologies. This process is primarily a community driven process. The majority of campaigns are managed by community members. I've put the banners up but I had to fix the banner animation, make a seperate banner for mobile and apply some fixes so that the banner would be compatible for mobile. I would encourage @Toniher: to request CN admin rights on meta to increase the capacity in your community for CN access. Seddon (WMF) (talk) 05:02, 13 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Seddon for the fixes. I will consider your suggestion for helping future efforts of our community and others... --Toniher (talk) 10:12, 13 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I sadly have to mark this request as "Closed", because the required deadline has passed. I'm really sorry I couldn't help, I would've, but your pign has't arrived. It either wasn't signed or the system does have problems with Martin_Urbanec vs Martin Urbanec. In the future, if I don't reply within a day or two, feel free to ping me at my discussion page (or by email), I might've missed your ping or forgot to reply about it! Best, --Martin Urbanec (talk) 19:39, 7 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Comment If you've changed deadlines for your strategy plans, let me know, I'll setup the campaign ASAP! --Martin Urbanec (talk) 19:40, 7 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Martin Urbanec:, Seddon (WMF) did actually enable the campaing in the end as you can read in the thread above. We will explore how we can actually help in these efforts in the future. Thanks! --Toniher (talk) 13:31, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Aha, great! I didn't see a   Done mark, so I didn't notice. --Martin Urbanec (talk) 13:38, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
