IP block

edit

Is it a global block or a local block? What message do you get? πr2 (t • c) 20:03, 8 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

For some reason after getting it once I don't seem to have had it again. I don't know if it was global or local but it said something about Amazon (I'm using a kindle fire to type this on) and spam. Sorry, but that's the best I can give! I shall inform you if it happens again! Thanks PIEmatj (talk) 20:24, 8 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the contact. We have previously have had problems with spambots operating from within the IP address range of Amazon Web Services. They have clearly done some reorganisation of their services within some of their operating ranges. I have modified one of the restrictions that WMF wikis have in place, so that when logged in to your user account, you should be able to edit. There may still be other restrictions that may affect you, so if you trip across them please let stewards know at SRP. Thanks. Billinghurst (talk) 00:20, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
