Thanks friend. I was going to send you this article.--Mani1 21:05, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for this ! this would need a long debate . we will talk --Mardetanha talk 21:09, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Actually all the most distinguished academicians like prof. Yarshater and Kamran Talattof[1] has explained this so thoroughly that I think we are not in the position to change the English name of our language as we wish. Just think of all the negative consequences this name-split is causing for the Persian language. I can write a book about the troubles this negligence has coused so far for us.--Mani1 21:15, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yes i would say yes you are right.but the matter is fa.Wikipedia not pe.Wikipedia.but as you know you have more knowledge in the field of languages so i buy your words --Mardetanha talk 21:18, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your attention. (An explanation: It is fa.Wikipedia because they have used the initials of the local name of all the languages for the addressing. like nl.Wikipedia (and not du.Wikipedia) because the local name for the Dutch language is Nederlands. Check all the languages and you'll see.--Mani1 21:22, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
Identification
editDear Mani,
Have you sent your identification data to the Wikimedia? They need this to be sent within 1 month after the successful CU election, and once you do it, it usually takes one day for them to confirm it. You just need to send an scanned copy of your ID or passport to them by email. The address is: secure-info@wikimedia.org

Your account will be renamed
editHello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Mani1. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Mani1~metawiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
