en-gb translation of the FDC recommendations

Hi Carriearchdale. Thanks for working on translating the FDC recommendations. I'm not sure I understand why you have translated them into en-gb, though. I know that there are some American spellings/idioms that made it into the recommendation text, despite my best efforts as the native British speaker who's also the secretary for the FDC ( ;-) ), but are the differences really sufficient to justify a whole translation of the document? I am so sorry, I may have mis-read the instructions. I had signed up to translate into en-gb as well as french. It is true that there are not always a large amount of differences on an english to en-gb translation. Were you wanting that document translated to French?

Ah, it sounds like there has been a confusion here then... There have been some people translating the document into French, and it sounds like as a result of their work an automatic notification has been sent around asking for more translations. In this case, I don't think that an en-gb translation will be helpful to the audience that will read the recommendations, so I'll nominate that for deletion if that's OK with you.
