Problem with Pi BotEdit

Hello, how can I prevent such edits from happening? I have already tried to manually set this Commons category to this Wikidate Item, but it seems Pi Bot will set the Commons category to this Wikidata Item every time. Veverve (talk) 12:10, 7 October 2019 (UTC)

@Veverve: The commons category belongs to the category item where it exists, so the bot is doing the correct thing. Is it causing an issue somewhere? Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 16:50, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
@Mike Peel: Thank you for yur quick answer! I believe it is an issue, because how I see it a Commons category is made to provide a "Wikimedia Commons" link at the left of the Wikipedia article, as well as a Wikipedia link at the left of the Commons category. Therefore, forcing to link the Commons category to a Wikipedia category seems useless to me in most cases. I believe users should be able to decide on a case-by-case basis. @Veverve: At the moment, the bot is following the consensus on Wikidata (see d:Wikidata:Requests_for_permissions/Bot/Pi_bot_6) - you might want to start a wider discussion at d:Wikidata:Project chat if you think that should be changed. The link in the sidebar does need to be fixed at some point, I submitted phab:T232927 to request that. For now you can use P373 in the topic item to display it, but I'm hoping that won't be around for much longer, see d:Wikidata:Properties_for_deletion#P373. Thanks.
