Annual events

SXSW: There is currently an annual wiki gathering around SXSW in Austin; with a place already reserved to stay, host events, and host a WikiPortraits photo booth in 2025.

We're hoping to make this an annual event. We will have space for a meetup and hackathon downtown, at a dedicated wiki-venue. Currently planning on a shorter meetup on Friday March 7th, and a longer event Fri-Sat March 14-15. If you will be in the area, or are interested in coming down, we are looking into organizing travel stipends, and also looking for Austin locals who can host visiting Wikipedians for a night :)
