Meetings since 2014 edit

I see that the content of this page has been moved to wmf:HR Committee where it is impossible for most of us to add comments or ask questions. I trust that posting questions and comments here will remain appropriate. I note that the 29 March 2016 version of the page mentons no meeting later than January 2014. Has the Committee met in the subsequent two years? If so, will the minutes of those meetings be published? If so, were and when? If not, why and who decided that? It seems that some questions resolve with time :) GVarnum-WMF copied content from wmf:HR Committee back here, so this part is solved (I hope it was done to have less pages to update). There is a page to request it, by the way. And again, unfortunately I cannot answer your question about meetings and minutes of HR committee for the past two years. And the minutes here are not very helpful indeed: wmf:HR Committee/2014-01-31. And again, to be more constructive: the new HRC has not met yet. Thank you. If as a Committee member you find the page here less than helpful, perhaps the next meeting could consider how best to share the minutes with new members and at the same time consider whether , to what extent, and how to extend that sharing process to the Community at large. If the Committee decides explicitly to cease the practice of sharing minutes with the Community then no doubt it will publish that decision formally here and engage in a reasoned discussion of the arguments for and against reducing the level of transparency in its operations. Hello, @Sj and Zblace. Thanks for your comments. I want to acknowledge your requests for an update and to inform you that the page with the current membership is here: Foundation:Board of Trustees/Committees. We are going to keep up-to-date information in one place -- Foundation wiki -- and pages on Meta will contain all the stable information (for ease of translation), and links to pages with the relevant information. Thank you for info @RStephenson (WMF). It might be useful to think of having a small Wikibase instance with WMF HR information, so that it would be multilingual *(at least as much as Wikidata is) from the start and that way be much more real-time then classical wiki pages can be.
