Username implying the user is a famous athlete

We have a user in both sewiki and smnwiki who has registered an account with a username that implies they are a famous Finnish professional footballer. I know that on enwiki this is not allowed: Implies user is some well-known figure, unless factually the case. How to proceed in this case? - Yupik (talk) 19:22, 16 December 2024 (UTC)

As a first step, it would be up to the admins on sewiki/smnwiki to address locally according to their own procedures. We could look at global action (block or lock) in cases of abuse, but this does not appear to be at that level in my view. – Ajraddatz (talk) 19:43, 16 December 2024 (UTC)

Info about RfC for change of license on Wikinews

Hi! As I understand it a notice here is not required but to be safe I can inform you that I created Requests for comment/Update standard license for Wikinews. I will post a notice on the Wikinewses but it may take a while and I may not complete today.
