Sue Gardner at Imperial College LondonEdit

After the London 51 meetup on 13 November 2011, Sue Gardner will be making a presentation entitled 'Participation of Female Editors on Wikipedia and its Sister Projects' . This will take place at Imperial College London, from 18:30 - 20:00. All Wikipedians are welcome and encouraged to attend. For further details see Sue Gardner at Imperial College London

  • Seven stops westbound on the Piccadilly line from where we are near Holborn station. Chunks of the District line are closed this weekend, as is the entire Circle line. WilliamH 04:20, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
  • so is there a worthwhile pub anywhere near the college?Geni 23:33, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
This part of Kensington is pubs desert. The Queen's Arms is the closest, and is not bad. Further South is a bit better if you don't mind the walk. The Anglesea Arms has been a favourite of mine for many years. Peter Damian 22:38, 9 November 2011 (UTC)

AgendaEdit

Informal chitchat with no set agenda. We usually have some experienced users and some laptops around so if you want a ten minute lesson in creating tables doing history merges or you just have a question on copyright this is a good venue (but please don't start discussions on copyright until enough people have arrived for a non-copyright conversation to run in parallel).

If you have some ideas for discussion topics, please put them below.

  • Open source textbooks, how can we encourage teachers to make more of them?
