Comments from I JethroBT (WMF)Edit

Hi Olaniyan Olushola and Lafemo, thanks for your proposal for these WLE events and contest to cover natural sites in Nigeria. I wanted to ask a little more about the edit-a-thon aspect of the event-- is this the workshop aspect of the project, or a separate event? If it's separate, who do you think would be participating in it? Thanks, I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 18:57, 20 June 2017 (UTC)

Hi I JethroBT (WMF), thank you for your observation. By the word "workshop" we meant editathon (in this context, the two words are the same). We plan to organise editathon, where our community members and winners of our prices will gather to upload images gathered from our photo walks and also use the images on existing and new articles that will be written during the event.
NB: Please note that we have adjusted the cost of editathon to USD290 in the budget line. This is because the sum of USD 100 for data modem, Projector etc were omitted on the line but included in the total budget summation of USD 1942.71. Therefore, our total budget remain unchanged. Now corrected. Olaniyan Olushola (talk) 21:18, 20 June 2017 (UTC)

Request for Extension for the end dateEdit

We write to request for change of end date to permit us in completing our report. This is due to delay in organising our editathorn.

The new date shall be 31st of September 2016. Olaniyan Olushola (talk) 21:57, 10 September 2017 (UTC)

Hi Olaniyan Olushola. The request is approved. Best, Alex Wang (WMF) (talk) 22:39, 11 September 2017 (UTC)
Hello Olaniyan Olushola and Alex Wang (WMF), Just to clarify ... the new grant end date is 30 September 2017 (there are only 30 days in September and I'm pretty sure the 2016 was a typo). Your new final report due date is 30 October 2017. -- Best, JTud (WMF), Grants Administrator (talk) 00:43, 12 September 2017 (UTC)
Thanks JTud (WMF), Grants Administrator :)
