Additional questions from WMFEdit
Hello Aboubacarkhoraa, did I understand your comment correctly. Are you no longer planning to do Wiki Loves Africa in Guinee? Please confirm and we can change the status of your proposal to "Withdrawn". I am also tagging Anthere in this comment in case I'm misunderstanding your response. Best regards, WJifar (WMF) (talk) 06:38, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
- Hello WJifar (WMF), The group of users is not to confirm first, it is an individual proposal that I am familiar with with us already. Yes I confirm these proposals of Aboubacarkhoraa for Guinea dennomée Wiki Loves Africa in GUINEA . Aboubacarkhoraa (talk) 07:00, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
Hello Aboubacarkhoraa, we have another follow-up question. In your budget section you list the line item "marketing communications," which includes stickers and t-shirts. We consider t-shirts to be a high cost item and therefore recommend giving them as a prize to a few participants, rather than using them for marketing or giving them to all particpants. Could you please update your proposal to specify how many t-shirts and stickers you plan to give out? Best regards, LSmith (WMF) (talk) 22:06, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
Merci WJifar (WMF) We will limit shorts but without touching the cost of communication which is very expensive here beyond what have to mention, before you report it we wanted to increase this budget for communication and marketing, as these ours first participation we want to impact as many people as possible, future editions we could revisit this point WJifar (WMF) --Aboubacarkhoraa (talk) 00:37, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
Hello Aboubacarkhoraa, thank you for your response. Thank you for reducing the number of shirts you will give out and instead using that money for increased communication. We have two follow-up requests:
- Could you please edit your application to indicate the reduced number of t-shirts you will be giving out and how you will decide who will receive them?
- Also, please note that per our Guidelines and Criteria we cannot give cash prizes in contests. Would you be able to give gift cards, vouchers, items, or gift certificates instead of cash?
thanks, WJifar (WMF), according to your comment everything is up to date on both issues. We will give different prices: the first one will benefit from a photo trip the second of a voucher the third aurat of the items we are going to buy. NB: all prices will be equivalent to the expected price in cash. Aboubacarkhoraa (talk), 22:21, 03 December 2018 (UTC)
