3 series of trainings/edithatons.

2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.
I have informed WUGN [here], The Nigerian Library Association Kwara State Chapter, The Head of Departments of Library and Information Science Schools in Kwara State, and the National Association of Library and Information Science Students in Kwara.

You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

I will share this project on various social media handles such as Facebook, Whatsapp and Telegram for Library Students in Kwara State and Nigerian Library Association Kwara State Chapter Nigerian Library Association Kwara State Chapter . I will also share this project on Wikibrarians in Nigeria for Librarians in Kwara to encourage participation of many library students in Kwara State.

(Olani Olabimpe)- (Project Lead) With over 30 years of experience, she is an experienced library administrator and director at the National Library of Nigeria Kwara State Branch, as well as the chairman of the Nigerian Library Association Kwara State chapter. She has also taken part in competitions and campaigns such as 1Lib1Ref2020 and WikiAflib 1Lib1Ref 2021.
(Bukky658)- (Resource person) She is an experienced Wikibrarian and the project coordinator of WikiGlam Awareness in Kwara State, as well as a Librarian in training and a WikiAFlib Cohort 1 fellow. She has taken part in a number of online contests, which include WPWP, WikiSDGs, WikiLoveAfrica, WikiActivate, WikiSanta, as well as WikiExpedition.
(ridzaina)- (Resource Person) She is a seasoned Wikipedian and a member of the Unilorin Wikimedia Fan Club. She has participated in a number of editathons, including WikiLovesSDGsKwara (Winner), Arts+Feminism, WikiLovesAfrica, WikiExpedition, Wikidata for Media Personalities, and WikiGlam Awareness for Librarians in Kwara State.
(James Rhoda)-(Resource Person) She is an experienced Wikipedian and a member of the Unilorin Wikimedia Fan Club. She was one of the winners of WikiLovesSDGsKwara and Wikidata for Media Personalities. She has also participated in a number of editathons in Kwara State.
(Linason Blessing)-(Communications and Publicity) she is a Wikibrarian and Librarian in training. She is highly skilled in social media engagements, publicity, and strategic communications.

5. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them?

Yes some participants already have smartphones and laptops but desktops will be provided for those who do not own laptops or smartphones. All the participants are computer literates.

6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?

I will create a Whatsapp follow-up group to further engage them. The group will provide them with tips on creating, editing, and retrieving Wikipedia articles, whilst also assigning mentors(an experienced Wikimedian) to them.

This project will enhance and improve Library Students engagements in 1Lib1Ref, other Wikimedia projects and campaigns in Kwara State.
