To organizations, informal groups, and individuals
- Grants:Start/sv – information on all of the Wikimedia Foundation's grantmaking programs
- Rapid Grants provide quick support throughout the year for projects up to USD 2000.
- Project Grants are awarded quarterly for all types of offline and online projects.
- Conference Grants: provide funding and planning support to groups or organizations to host local or regional conferences that bring Wikimedians together for experience sharing, skill building, and networking.
- Annual Plan Grants: WMF's annual plan grants for affiliated entities.
- Wikimedia Deutschland WissensWert (projects also from out of the Wikimedia scope and with a budget of less than 5000 € each)
To help future organizations
- Affiliate start up grants given through the Affiliations Committee with the costs of starting an organization and becoming recognized in the Wikimedia movement
