নীতি
উইকিমিডিয়া ফাউন্ডেশন কর্তৃক পরিচালিত প্রকল্পগুলিতে বৈশ্বিক ব্যবহারকারী অধিকারের নীতিটি হলো স্থানীয় প্রকল্পে উক্ত অধিকার ব্যবহার করার কেও না থাকলে বা অনুপস্থিত থাকলে সেক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করা। বৈশ্বিক অধিকার স্থানীয় প্রকল্পের অধিকারকে ছাড়িয়ে যাওয়ার উদ্দেশ্যে তৈরিকৃত নয় এবং সমস্ত বৈশ্বিক অধিকার অবশ্যই স্থানীয় নীতিগুলির সাথে সামঞ্জস্য রেখে ব্যবহার করা উচিত। একটি স্থানীয় প্রকল্পে একটি নির্দিষ্ট বৈশ্বিক ব্যবহারকারী অধিকারের অনুপস্থিতিতে, সমতুল্য স্থানীয় অধিকার ব্যবহারের জন্য স্থানীয় প্রকল্পের নীতিমালা বাধ্যতামূলকভাবে বিবেচনা করা উচিত। যদি একজন ব্যবহারকারী স্থানীয় নীতিমালা সম্পর্কে অবগত না হয়ে কোন বৈশ্বিক ব্যবহারকারী অধিকার ব্যবহার করেন বা ভাষার বাধার কারণে নীতিমালাটি পড়তে অক্ষম হয়, তবে সেই ব্যবহারকারীকে সচেতন হওয়া উচিত যে স্থানীয় নীতিমালার লঙ্ঘনের ফলে বৈশ্বিক অধিকার অপসারণ করা হবে।
নতুন দলের প্রস্তাবনা
All proposals for new or significantly altered global user groups must be publicized and discussed in such a way and over a period of time that allows members of all Wikimedia Foundation projects to participate. At a minimum this should include notices on the village pump (or equivalent) of all projects, and preferably watchlist notices (or sitenotices) for all major proposals.
বৈশ্বিক অধিকারের অপব্যবহার
Any abuse of a global user right will result in the immediate removal of that right. Abuse is the willful violation of a local or global policy, or consistent violation of local or global policies through ignorance or an inability (through a language barrier) to understand the local policies. Abuse of global rights should be reported immediately to Wikimedia stewards either at the stewards' noticeboard or by email at: stewards
wikimedia.org.
Assignment of global groups
The assignment of global groups is made based upon criteria set out on the global policy governing the use of each specific global rights. The individual global rights policies should take into account the level of trust required and the methods for establishing that these requirements have been met.
Opting in or out of global groups
Each project has the technical ability to opt in or opt out of specific global groups via Special:WikiSets. The opt out process should be initiated by local projects following local processes for achieving a policy consensus.
