ContentTranslation for Wikivoyage

Problem: Currently, it is not possible to use ContentTranslation in Wikivoyage projects.
Proposed solution: Make ContentTranslation compatible for Wikivoyage
Who would benefit: The entire Wikivoyage community, new users and editors interested in translating articles from other sister projects.
More comments: The translation extension would be very useful for regular editors and would facilitate learning for new users who want to create articles that are in a different language than their own. This proposal has been well supported in previous requests in the past years 2020 and 2022.

Discussion

It sounds very useful; I'd also suggest that Wikivoyage take up some of the basic non-English language templates used on Wikipedia for accessibility, like lang and transliteration. The two would go together well with this proposal.Ineffablebookkeeper (talk) 23:18, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: I did some volunteer work which is somewhat related to this, by enabling ContentTranslation for Wikivoyage on the Beta Cluster (T322325) — I believe this prompted some renewed investigation into this feature by another team (though please don't hold me to that!) — TheresNoTime (talk • they/them) 17:35, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
