      1. Currently open, with upload rates in line with previous years.
      2. None of the suggested people to contact as judges have replied. One Wikimedian has kindly offered. We will reach out to some more suggestions that were made.
      3. Wikimedia UK to promote the Irish edition alongside Wales, as NI is covered in the Irish competition.
  6. 2022 Grant
    1. The group discussed what can be brought forward into the next grant in relation to support of the Irish languages, but also monitoring potential biases in content which directly affects Irish topics.
  7. AOB
    1. Engage a legal firm to support all aspects of CRO reporting etc.
    2. Rebecca to follow up on finding a Dublin accountant for reporting and other financial services.
    3. Given the fall off in participation and issues getting to the new premises, monthly TOG editing nights are to be ended. It was suggested that a new city centre venue could be found, a few suggested partners were listed, that Rebecca will follow up on.

        1. Initial meeting and getting to know the other partners.

          3. Contact groups like Foras na Gaeilge about the programme.

      2. The writing competition on Vicipéid was not taken up editors, suggestions to communities to contact about any future Irish language writing campaigns were suggested.

    1. Draft of the grant with adjusted questions is being finalised.
      1. Input and feedback from the meeting to be folded into the application before its submission on 8 April.

      1. Feedback from the comments would be to explain and give a further breakdown of the funding etc. for this programme in the future.

    1. Wikimedia Community Ireland is officially registered as a CLG as of 17 January 2022. The first report to the Company Registry Office is due on 17 July 2022.
  2. Education Outreach
    1. DCU
      1. Translation students are currently selecting articles to translate, and have questions relating to translating part of articles in their target articles.
      2. Rebecca suggested that the lecturer give her a list of the articles they wish to part-translate, and that she can give feedback on which parts to priortise.
      3. Claire suggested that multiple students work on the same article, translating different sections, as well as looking to add some citations in the target language.
      4. Sharing experiences with other DCU teaching staff with Dr Ruth McManus through an online teaching practice seminar.
    2. TCD
      1. Eoin O’Dell approached Rebecca to facilitate second year law students edit Wikipedia as part of a group work project. She will have a session with them on Monday 14 February.
  3. Erasmus+
    1. As a CLG, our group was accepted as a fully funded partner, and contracts to that effect have been signed this week.
    2. The project will start with an in-person event in the Netherlands in March and teacher training in the Basque Country in June.
    3. The funding allows for the payment of a contractor to work on producing and translating relevant teaching materials in Irish.
      1. The group was clear that we need to ensure that we have a transparent recruiting process, fair pay, and conditions.

      1. Rebecca reported on the in-person event that was held in the museum on 20 January.
      2. Upload with Pattypan is possible again as of this week.
    2. Decade of Centenaries
      1. First meeting of 2022 with the ongoing digitisation project taking place 14 February.
