On February 21-25, Wikimedia Armenia organized EduWiki Week by visiting various educational institutions: "Heratsi" high school, Yerevan State College of Informatics, and N46 high school. The purpose of these visits was to introduce students to Wikipedia, the activities of Wikimedia Armenia, the link between Wikipedia and education, as well as Wikipedia's tools.
In general, the visits consisted of two parts: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the students were introduced to Wikipedia. During the Q&A session, we tried to find out how much information students have about Wikipedia and its tools. In this section, we also presented how Wikipedia was integrated into the educational processes of various educational institutions, what projects those interested can participate in.
In the practical part, it was presented how to register in the Armenian Wikipedia by creating a new account. Then the students got acquainted with the main tools of Wikipedia, on the example of the "Armenia" article they learned how to make changes in the article, how to view the history or revert the changes.
To make the practical section more interesting and exciting, a student volunteered to create a new account and make their first editing on Wikipedia. To learn more about Wikipedia's editing opportunities, students were invited to visit the office of Wikimedia Armenia and participate in the Saturday workshops.

Graduates of Yerevan Brusov State University successfully started their internship at Wikimedia Armenia.
In February 2022, the internship of bachelor and master students from the Faculty of Translation and Intercultural Communication and the Faculty of Russian and Foreign languages started at Wikimedia Armenia.
The internship consists of two stages. During the first stage, the participants got acquainted with Wikipedia rules and tools, and learn to edit Wikipedia. During the second stage, the students must translate articles from other languages into Armenian using the knowledge they have already gained.
For two weeks, 32 students visited the Wikimedia Armenia office, learned about Wikipedia rules and editing tools. They translate from English, Chinese and Korean languages. For the first day, the students chose small articles and started translating them in their sandboxes. Then they gradually started to wikificate their articles. The students actively participated in the first stage, used the learned tools in their own articles.
To select articles, participants were previously given a list of top-important articles and a list of linguistic articles.
Wiki Loves History edit
In cooperation with the Faculty of History of the YSU Idzevan branch, Wikimedia Armenia implemented the ”Wiki Loves History” project.
Seven students participate in this project. As the project has started just recently, it is an ongoing project. During this month, seven training courses were organized for the students. During the first class, they were introduced to the activities of Wikimedia Armenia and Wikipedia - the free encyclopedia. The participants were introduced to the rules of writing an article on Wikipedia, as well as the link between Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects - Wikidata and Wikicommons. They also registered on Armenian Wikipedia by creating their accounts. The second class was mainly dedicated to the structure of the Wikipedia article, its subtitles, and internal links. During the third class, the participants learned about the references and infoboxes used in Wikipedia articles. The next two classes concentrated on external links, usage of pictures in articles, categories, and interlanguage links. The students also started writing their articles in their sandboxes. During the sixth and seventh classes, they presented their work and made necessary changes to their articles; also Wikidata and Wikicommons were presented to them.
The participants will continue their work for another month, during which they will improve a number of articles on history.
WikiClubs' report edit
February was very busy for Wikiclubs, the club members actively worked on Wikipedia, creating and improving content. Club members have also been active on Wikisource during the month proofreading various books.
An edit-a-thon dedicated to books started in Lernapat Wikiclub on February 1, which ended on Book Donation Day. The participants created articles about books and films based on them. The best participants received books on the occasion of Book Donation Day.
Goris Wikiclubs conducted online meetings, during which participants were taught how to work on Wikipedia, and were presented the vital rules for creating articles. The club had three new members during the month. Alaverdi Wikiclub members organized a book discussion on the occasion of Book Donation Day. They read and analyzed the "Rule of Three" part from the book “One minute later". They discussed the most important values, principles, thoughts, and feelings of Wikiclubs’ life. The Stepanakert club members continued a new project started last month - "Wiki geologist", the goal of which is to create articles about the country chosen during the month. The club chose Iceland in February and wrote 18 articles about the country.
