Lightning talk

Abstract (in about 300 words)

I would divide this lightning talk in two halves. In the first half of five mins, I will give a small walk-through on how one can improve Wikivoyage articles with dynamic maps where new Wikimedia maps is used as the default layer which is powered by OpenStreetMap. I would show where the map can be embedded in an article(and where its not generally done!) and tools available to add map/mapdata like Geomap and Geobatcher. In the second half, I would give a small introduction to OpenStreetMap which now powers Wikimedia maps and how one can contribute to it, especially adding multilingual Indic names.
