एडिटिंग टीम टॉक पेज प्रोजेक्ट पर काम कर रही है। टॉक पेज प्रोजेक्ट का लक्ष्य योगदानकर्ताओं को विकी पर अधिक आसानी से संवाद करने में मदद करना है। यह परियोजना वार्ता पृष्ठ परामर्श 2019 का परिणाम है।

भविष्य के अपडेट में, टीम की योजना किसी अन्य उपयोगकर्ता के नाम, एक रिच-टेक्स्ट एडिटिंग विकल्प और अन्य टूल को आसानी से लिंक करने के लिए एक टूल का परीक्षण करने की है।

टीम अब टिप्पणियों के लिए उत्तर देने का नया उपकरण बना रही है। यह प्रारंभिक संस्करण अपने आप टिप्पणी पर हस्ताक्षर और संकेत दे सकता है। Please test the new Reply tool.

• On 31 March 2020, the new reply tool was offered as a Beta Feature editors at four Wikipedias: Arabic, Dutch, French, and Hungarian. If your community also wants early access to the new tool, contact User:Whatamidoing (WMF).
• The team is planning some upcoming changes. Please review the proposed design and share your thoughts on the talk page. The team will test features such as:
  • an easy way to mention another editor ("pinging"),
  • a rich-text visual editing option, and
  • other features identified through user testing or recommended by editors.
