User page if undertaking cross-wiki workEdit
Would you please consider creating a meta user talk page, preferably with #Babel tag, if you are undertaking cross-wiki work, especially when working in the SWMT. It gives knowledge to those who are seeing your edits and reverts some understanding on how and why the work is being undertaken. Thanks for the consideration. — billinghurst sDrewth 02:05, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
Revert on fo.wpEdit
Hi XXBlackburnXx.
Thanks for reverting the damaging edits in this article (Tróndur Patursson) on fo.wp. But it isn't the only article user Derf420 has damaged. Could you do the same with this article (Sólrún Michelsen), since User Derf420 has done a lot of damaging editing and I don't know how to revert all these edits through a single action. Thanks in advance.--2003:CF:3F47:15D2:45BB:ADC9:A384:C6D2 14:22, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
- Great! Thanks a lot.--2003:CF:3F47:15D2:45BB:ADC9:A384:C6D2 14:28, 24 April 2019 (UTC)

Maybe we should just leave criticismEdit
Hi. I feel that criticism of people can generally be left when it is not a sheer attack, and it is politely, or somewhat politely, made. We should not be hiding from criticism of ourselves, or others in how they undertake the taks that they undertake, whether we agree with it or not. Would you prefer people held to high standards, or simply ignoring criticism? (And you were definitely right to revert the edit to the archives) — billinghurst sDrewth 01:28, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
User script to access other watchlistsEdit
Hi XXBlackburnXx,
If you remember, you participated in the 2019 Community Wishlist Survey, including the discussion for reviving "Crosswatch" to allow for cross-wiki watchlists (Community Wishlist Survey 2019/Watchlists/Revive Crosswatch tool).
I sent you this MassMessage because I wanted to let you know that I have made a user script to make accessing your watchlists on different wikis easier, since for now that wishlist item has not been actioned.
The way it works is that, on any wiki, when you look at your watchlist, there is a button labeled "CA" that takes you to the CentralAuth page for you. There, when looking at your own information, each link to a wiki ("meta.wikimedia.org", "www.wikidata.org", "de.wikipedia.org", etc.) is changed so that it links to your watchlist on that wiki.
If you are interested in using it, just add mw.loader.load('//meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:DannyS712/Watchlist.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript');
to your global javascript page. This imports the code at m:User:DannyS712/Watchlist.js.
If you want to learn more, there is documentation for the script available at w:en:User:DannyS712/Watchlist. If you would like to discuss the script, talk to me at m:User talk:DannyS712.

Watchlist Expiry project pageEdit
Hello,
During the Community Whishlist survey 2019, you have voted for the Watchlist item Expiration wish.
Community Tech has created the Watchlist Expiry project page to work on this feature, and is looking for your feedback about the open questions they have.

ro.wikiquote mass-vandalismsEdit
Hi, Blackburn. I noticed you recently helped us reverting vandalisms at ro.wikiquote. Many thanks for that! Unfortunately, we have another issue. On May 9th this anonymous user created a lot of pages (fake userpages and others). I nominated them all for speedy deletion. Maybe you can spare some time and take a look. Thanks again! Regards, AT09W(talk) 11:10, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
- @AT09W: Unfortunately I don't have the right permissions to delete pages. I recommend you to make a request on Steward requests/Miscellaneous so that someone else can take action. -- XXBlackburnXx (talk) 21:06, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
The 2021 Community Wishlist Survey is now open! This survey is the process where communities decide what the Community Tech team should work on over the next year. We encourage everyone to submit proposals until the deadline on 30 November, or comment on other proposals to help make them better. The communities will vote on the proposals between 8 December and 21 December.
The Community Tech team is focused on tools for experienced Wikimedia editors. You can write proposals in any language, and we will translate them for you. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing your proposals!

We invite all registered users to vote on the 2021 Community Wishlist Survey. You can vote from now until 21 December for as many different wishes as you want.
In the Survey, wishes for new and improved tools for experienced editors are collected. After the voting, we will do our best to grant your wishes. We will start with the most popular ones.
We, the Community Tech, are one of the Wikimedia Foundation teams. We create and improve editing and wiki moderation tools. What we work on is decided based on results of the Community Wishlist Survey. Once a year, you can submit wishes. After two weeks, you can vote on the ones that you're most interested in. Next, we choose wishes from the survey to work on. Some of the wishes may be granted by volunteer developers or other teams.
We are waiting for your votes. Thank you!

Invitation for Functionary consultation 2021Edit
Greetings SWMT member,
I'm letting you know in advance about a meeting I'd like to invite you to regarding the Universal Code of Conduct and the community's ownership of its future enforcement. I'm still in the process of putting together the details, but I wanted to share the date with you: 10 July, 2021. I do not have a time on this date yet, but I will let you soon. We have created a meta page with basic information. Please take a look at the meta page and sign up your name under the appropriate section.
Thank you for your time.--BAnand (WMF) 03:21, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
