Speedy deletion of pages moved to MediaWiki.org edit

Hello. I see you have imported many pages from meta to mediawiki.org and you have tagged these pages for speedy deletion on meta. For the moment I haven't deleted them because they don't meet meta SD criteria. I think it would be better to create a common RfD for all these pages. guillom 10:30, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi Guillom - I'm not all that fussed about what happens with those pages - I was just flagging them as unneeded, and there is no direct correlation to them on MW.org so a soft-redirect is not suitable. Please feel free to put them through whatever process you like. --HappyDog 16:37, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Semantic MediaWiki is an extension edit

Hi, I see in December 2006 you removed category:MediaWiki extensions from Semantic MediaWiki. I'm curious why? It really is an extension to MediaWiki. Is it because SMW is also a project whose deliverable is this extension? If so, how should we (I work on the software) organize the project info and the extension info? -- skierpage 03:26, 1 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sysop rights edit

Hello HappyDog,

Per this request, you are now a (regular) sysop. Congrats. Please list yourself in Template:List of administrators. Thanks, and good luck!

P.S. I notice you have no email set, would you be so kind as to set one, as is required for admins here. Cheers. Majorly (talk) 06:27, 11 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikibooks Logo Discussion edit

I strongly disagree with your reinstatement of the guideline for the localization of logos for Wikibooks. I ask that you take a look at my comments on the discussion page and reconsider. I feel it would be a much better solution to request logo submissions to include a plan for translation, that way this entire issue can be resolved with this one process. I don't want to institute a new policy without more input from the community and I would rather not go back and forth reverting the page. Could you please remove the new guideline until other people have a chance to add their opinion? --Ezra Katz 22:39, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

October admin confirmations edit

Just to let you know that, per Meta:Admin#Poll after a year, your local rights on meta are up for their annual reconfirmation at Meta:Administrators/confirm. WJBscribe (talk) 21:56, 7 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Admin confirmations edit

Hi, your rights were removed after the yearly confirmations due to you not being actively using your admin tools. --Cometstyles 02:47, 22 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Change to section edit links edit

The brackets were not added as part of that change, they've always been there since Erik implemented section editing in 2003. Matma Rex (talk) 19:41, 21 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi - I realised that shortly after editing. Please feel free to remove or to reword if you think it's useful to include this information. --HappyDog (talk) 19:51, 21 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
