unblock Luigi 28 and others
Hi, you know this guy: you can read
This guy always accuses of sockpuppetry every editor who oppose his points of view: I had account en:user:PIO but I am not en:user:Luigi 28. As well I am not en:user:Barba Nane, en:user:MacLot, en:user:Miranovic, en:user:ANTE RAKELA. May you stop this DIREKTOR's harassment against several users by false accusations of socks? I know Luigi on e-mail messages then I know his surname and his hometown; in this case DIREKTOR reported Barba Nane claiming sockpuppetry of Luigi 28 and an admin banned him but here AlasdairGreen27 asserts The initial checkuser test about you was a false positive. You are not PIO, I know that. PIO was infantry, you are officer material. Your language style is different from PIO, your contributions are different, your ability to use sources is different and here Luigi asserts PIO is a real idiot: it is shameful to be compared to him. Evidence: Luigi is not Pio and Barba Nane is other guy too! Regards,--Ducatista 15:10, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
RfC
Read the RFD page. Thanks. --WizardOfOz talk 19:39, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
- I share other people's sentiment that your conduct and performance as a sysop in this matter has been disgraceful and reflects very poorly both on your character and your competence. Fut.Perf. ☼ 20:19, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for your thoughts, I really appreciate them. --WizardOfOz talk 20:23, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
Requests
I appreciate that you would have handled things slightly differently, but could you please explain me how do you expect the situation to improve by spreading the drama and reopening all sorts of requests? Nemo 00:24, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- The situation will improve once it is resolved. It will be resolved when (a) the RfC is deleted, and (b) process has been clarified in such a way that RfCs of that sort won't happen again. I want the two regular processes directed towards that goal to continue and not be shot down by arrogant, out-of-process dictatorial admin intervention. Fut.Perf. ☼ 00:26, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- This is not the description of the problem but of the solution you propose for it. The problem is en.wiki imported drama for me, and that's solved, or it was before you reopened requests. Nemo 00:32, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- There will be no problem if these two processes are simply allowed to follow their course. If the solutions suggested in them are not the right solutions, let a consensus against them form in the normal way. Fut.Perf. ☼ 00:55, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

Trolling
This was a completely unnecessary attack (in the edit summary). Please refrain from such strong language on Meta. Nemo 15:04, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- I will use language appropriate to the situation. Are you also of the opinion that "Meta regulars" ought to be given a privileged voice over those of us who come here only ad hoc for a given purpose? Fut.Perf. ☼ 15:06, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
Blocked by an involved adminstrator
Nemo bis, resign your adminship, pronto. You have been in a direct conflict with me. For you to block me in this situation is really the height of impertinence. 15:10, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- I'm totally uninvolved in your dispute with Ottava, except that I defended you. Nemo 15:14, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- You have been in several related disputes with me over your handling of the various discussions. We have been disputing stuff in several places for the last 24 hours, did you forget? In what world does that not make you involved? Fut.Perf. ☼ 15:17, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- I know I've seen your name lately, but I surely don't even remember what positions you had, I should check to discover but I didn't because it's unrelated. Nemo 15:31, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- Wow, if your memory is that short, you should maybe not be doing any admin work at all. Hint: our discussions were not "unrelated"; they were directly part of the same set of conflicts. Our discussions are right here, on this page, and on your own. Oh, and you also didn't answer my other question above. You implied in your answer to O.R. that you found his tagging of "new user" votes potentially legitimate or helpful. Therefore my question: are you also of the opinion that in discussions like this, here on Meta, the voice of "Meta regulars" ought to be given a privileged standing over that of people who come here only because of an individual issue and are otherwise experienced editors on local projects? As I said, I find even the suggestion of such a distinction deeply disturbing. Fut.Perf. ☼ 15:34, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- Just in case anybody wants to check: Of your latest 60 or so edits on Meta, the following eight were directly addressed to me, or were reverting me: [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]. And you really want to pretend you didn't remember you were in a direct conflict with me, over matters immediately related to the issue between me and O.R.? That beggars belief. Covering up admin abuse with this kind of Insanity defense really won't work. Fut.Perf. ☼ 15:47, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- I didn't answer this question because you don't have the right to ask it. You can edit your talk to discuss your block, not to discuss things which belong to other venues. Nemo 15:44, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- Wow, talk about arrogance. By the way, I asked that question before you blocked me. Fut.Perf. ☼ 15:47, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

Block
This clearly showed me that you need a pause. The request was closed, your answer not only unnecessary but also completely unhelpful. I understand you saved it mostly by mistake, but saving such edits in a rush still is not a good idea and the problem with your attacks remains. I keep the block at 2 days so that it won't prevent you from a final participation in the current RfD and other ongoing processes you showed interest in. Nemo 15:11, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- See my comment above. I'm not going to grace this abuse with an unblock request though. Fut.Perf. ☼ 15:13, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- By the way, I made that edit before you closed the debate, or at least I didn't see an edit-conflict notice when I saved it. Other than that, it was not by mistake. Fut.Perf. ☼ 15:15, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- Nemo, may I suggest that you just unblock the user, and FPAS, you agree to drop it if the error is reversed promptly. We don't need admins feuding with one another. Let's just chalk up this to an unfortunate misunderstanding precipitated (perhaps intentionally) by some banned users who have, perhaps unintentionally, been doing an excellent troll-work. Jehochman 16:17, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- Fine with me. Fut.Perf. ☼ 16:26, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- This has more to do with a bunch of enwiki admins coming to meta, deciding that they don't like how things are run here and taking action in the form of personal attacks and harassment. While that may be acceptable at enwiki, it isn't here, and I'd say that this block was justified. Ajraddatz (Talk) 16:55, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- If Meta wants to be taken seriously as a place for cross-project decision processes, especially conflict resolution, then it must radically get rid of this "us-versus-them" mentality apparently common among some of its regulars, as expressed in phrases like "enwiki admins coming here" or "the way things are run here". If Meta wants to act as a place of meta-dispute resolution, then the voice of every active member of any local project must be given equal weight, immediately on their first visit here, no matter their local "Meta" activity level, measured only by their standing and experienced in their local communities. I am in fact not "coming here" from outside; I'm at home here just as much as you are, and my opinions on how things ought to be run count exactly as much as yours. The circling-the-wagons reaction I am seeing from people like you is extremely disconcerting and offensive, and in fact calls into doubt the whole purpose and role of this wiki. Fut.Perf. ☼ 17:05, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

Ho hum ...
Anyway - it takes two sides to behave well and two sides to behave like idiots. Volunteers here at Meta have been (it feels like it) under siege from volunteers from en wp (which is merely another Foundation project). Mostly they appear not to understand Meta (which is ok because it is a somewhat remote backwater) and not realise it is a hub project that deserves to be treated with some respect. Folk have suggested I loose my rights for example - if anyone of "us" turned up on en wp and suggested that we would be blocked in the blink of an eye.
All generalisation are dangerous however mostly folk here are pretty relaxed and even and deal with mass idiocy as a matter of daily work - it doesn't mean they take kindly to it. I've contemplated more blocks in the past 48 hours than most periods (& FWIW mine is the longest block log here roughly). --Herby talk thyme 17:19, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- If you want to act in a situation where blocks for incivility are on the table, you better avoid the use of words like "idiocy". Also, demanding "respect" is the surest way not to get any. I'll also say it again: this "under siege" metaphor is just another sign of what is wrong with people here. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Fut.Perf. ☼ 17:24, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- You should bear in mind that any words I use are thought through (mostly). I was making a point. That said my experience of most en wp admins is not all that favourable - that is actual experience not things I've heard or whatever.
- Equally I am not demanding any respect - that is something you earn (see previous sentence for what colours my views).
- The problem - as is so often the case - is the complete inability for folk to have any kind of empathy. In the end it matters not - the world will not end as a result of conversation here nor will we bury friends as a result - if would be good if others got a sense of perspective too. --Herby talk thyme 17:46, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
Semi please
Can somebody semiprotect this talkpage please, for the time being? The vandalism from the "Wikinger" vandal is annoying. Fut.Perf. ☼ 21:27, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

Meta:Requests_for_adminship/Nemo_bis_(removal) – I mentioned how involved sysop Nemo bis blocked you in February 2012. If you wish to shed light on that block, feel free to do so. --Michaeldsuarez (talk) 16:09, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
