Journal hosting sister project proposalEdit
Hello, I'm leaving a note on the talkpages of those on the old SPCom list to ensure that you have seen this proposal discussion for a journal hosting sister project. I realise that the process these days is slightly different, but I'm keen to make sure that we get as broad feedback as possible, so please consider to adding a note to comment/support/oppose. We hope to submit a cover letter to the WMF trustees in the coming month. T.Shafee(Evo﹠Evo)talk 03:47, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
Request for interviewEdit
My name is AVardhana (WMF) (talk) 19:23, 3 March 2021 (UTC), and I recently joined The Wikipedia Library team to help with design work. I noticed you've been very generous with your input to our team so I thought I would reach out! I'm writing to invite you to participate in an interview study that I'm currently conducting.
This would involve us meeting via Google meets where I will ask you a few questions and then have you test a prototype with me. For the interview, I'd be recording your screen as well as audio. The purpose of the study is to get a better understanding of who is using The Wikipedia Library for the purposes of making the right improvements!
If you're interested, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, and I'll send a copy of the privacy statement to you. If you have any questions, I am happy to answer them.
Thank you, Aishwarya
- Dear AVardhana (WMF), thanks for inviting me to your study! Of course, I'd be happy to help you. Unfortunately, the time I have available is very much limited at the moment, so I'm afraid I cannot take part in a lenghty interview and in an online assessment session. Also, I am not sure whether I should use Google Meet. We do not use it in this part of the world because of Google's rather poor record on data protection. So, you might like to provide me a link to your prototype so that I could have a look at it as time permits and give you some feedback? Kind regards, Aschmidt (talk) 22:40, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
