Covan Giovanni held the position of treasurer for Wikimedia Indonesia's project Beacon of Theology 2011. Covan previously was a participant for wikipedia writing competition "Free Your Knowledge 2010" and some of his writing topics was "church history" and "theology of religions", during the competition Covan successfully become one out of the 18 participants (from total 90 participants) who manages to complete the competition. Currently Covan is still studying in Jakarta Theological Seminary and enjoys teaching choirs in several churces located in Jakarta and Tangerang. He also likes basketball and swimming.
