Challenges

The President's infinite block in Italian Wikipedia has disrupted the group's activities. Demotivation and radical change in the concrete organization of activities have led to a reduction in events, the cancellation of some long-term campaigns organized by other affiliates and those ideated by us. At this moment, our group is following a transformation path, in an attempt to preserve users, contents and partners. We are moving towards:

1. strengthening the presence in projects such as Wikibooks and Wikiquote,
2. the diversification and shift of the school program from what was the main activity in Wikipedia towards other Wikimedia projects,
3. the search for new stimuli and ways of involving users,
4. the continuation of our activities regarding diversity and reducing the gender gap,
5. the search for resources and community livelihood sources or alternatives, which respect the obtaining criteria (penalizing in these circumstances) and
6. the discovery of new ways of being peacefully in the movement.
