SEO favoring local varieties (BS, HR, SR) ...

Hey User:Vipz in regards to your statement: 'SEO on search engines favorizes local varieties (BS, HR, SR) when displaying pages from Wikipedia.' (heard similar before), do you have a reference for this and where is this located (when searching from within geography of each country or also abroad)? --Zblace (talk) 05:40, 18 April 2022 (UTC)

@Zblace: I just want to note I meant Google in this context, as it's by far the most used search engine. Yes, within geography of each country, no matter what I do, if I'm searching from a Croatian IP and there's a hr.wikipedia.org article, I'm going to get it first. There's no way to tell Google which Wikipedia I want results from (even though I've repeatedly clicked sh.wikipedia.org links, it won't learn to display me that Wikipedia). I don't think anyone has done research on this kind of thing, so I wrote that from personal experience (meaning I can't give a reference for this). -Vipz (talk) 09:29, 18 April 2022 (UTC)
