Directing to an existing meta page: Nigerian Pidgin Wikimedians User Group
editAs per the discussion here and here. Please note that most user groups are named after the English name of the language user groups and not the autonym. See Dagbani Wikimedians User Group with autonym Daganli and Yoruba Wikimedians User Group with autonym Èdè Yorùbá.--Samatics (talk) 05:50, 11 October 2021 (UTC)
- This argument is nonsense and stop spamming this page. Yoruba is not an English word. It's the name in the language itself. "Dagbani" is not an English word either. "Dagbani" is also known as "Dagbanli" and "Dagbanle". See the Dagbani dictionary as well. The user group may decide to use "Dagbani" or "Dagbanli". It's not my busines! Ibo language autonym is "Igbo and we have Igbo Wikimedians User Group, Hausa language autonym is Hausa and we have Hausa Wikimedians User Group. "Nigerian pidgin" is an English phrase and we can't name a local language Wikipedia and related group in English language or in any of its phrases. We have named it in the language itself (Naijá) and that is not your business. T CellsTalk 22:45, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
