Projects which use different venues for different kinds of announcements should choose a page where they will be notified and handle any further copying and moving themselves.

I don't agree with this. Better to list a number of lash points where necessary. The point of the distribution list is to reach the people in the broader community who will know what to do with an announcement; those people who might relied upon to redistribute a misplaced announcement can better help maintain this distribution list. +sj | Translate the Quarto |+ 17:12, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads-up! So far, it actually hadn't possible to distribute messages to variable pages like this using Global message delivery, but MZMcBride has just made the necessary changes to EdwardsBot's code and I have updated this list and Distribution list/Global message delivery. Different page per month

Messages to the English Wiktionary should be added to Wiktionary:Beer parlour/[year]/[month]. Messages are currently sent directly to Wiktionary:Beer parlour instead. Is there a way to fix this? --Yair rand (talk) 21:48, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
