Strong support for Dr. Pavanajas candidacy for the Affiliations Committee (AffCom). Dr. Pavanaja, a dedicated Tulu and Kannada Wikimedian, currently serves as the Secretary of the Karavali Wikimedians User Group. Over the years, he has been an active and encouraging mentor within the community, significantly contributing to educational projects and supporting both new and seasoned Wikimedians alike.

Dr. Pavanaja's deep understanding of Wikimedia movement structures, processes, and priorities makes him an ideal candidate for AffCom. As a representative from South Asia and an experienced Wikimedian with over 15 years of sustained involvement, his background spans a broad range of roles and projects within his native Wikimedia communities, where he has consistently demonstrated his commitment to fostering growth and resolving challenges. In AffCom, Dr. Pavanaja would be well-equipped to support affiliates, bridge communication between the Wikimedia Foundation, affiliates, and communities, and address issues that may arise.

The person who wrote this comment, Lokesh Kunchadka, is a blocked user in Kannada Wikipedia. He was blocked for violation of friendly space policy, trolling new users, unacceptable behavior, etc. It was an unanimous decision of Kannada Wikipedia community.Hence his comment can be ignored.--Pavanaja (talk) 09:39, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
