French volunteer translator for several years, I am always embarrassed to translate a message containing a “read more” link toward a non-translatable English page, so I would like to mark them for translation. My written English may be faltering, but I well understand it while reading. —Pols12 (talk) 14:12, 19 October 2019 (UTC)

- Question: have you read mw:Help:Extension:Translate/Page translation example and mw:Help:Extension:Translate/Page translation administration? Could you provide examples of pages you have tagged for translation? --Base (talk) 03:26, 20 October 2019 (UTC)
- I have never tagged a page page for translation because I thought only translation admin could do it. Thanks to those pages reading, I now know I could do it, but it’s not really helpful since a translation admin has to mark the page for translation anyway. —Pols12 (talk) 14:41, 21 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Pols12: please prepare a page for translation, so we can see if you know how do it correctly. Matiia (talk) 02:50, 22 October 2019 (UTC)
- Of course. So, what about this edit? —Pols12 (talk) 16:57, 22 October 2019 (UTC)

Done The prepared page looks fine, you can now go ahead and mark it for translation (though you will probably see that you want to split the #-separated list into more translation items ;) ) --MF-W 19:26, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
