AlgoAccountabilityBot edit

Not ending before 8 June 2023 23:14 (UTC)

Hi! I'd like to request a bot flag for User:AlgoAccountabilityBot so that I can edit with a greater frequency than once per minute.

AlgoAccountabilityBot will be used exclusively on meta in order to watch and update model cards.

@HTriedman (WMF) two questions: (a) Is this bot only going to edit within Special:PrefixIndex/Machine_learning_models/Production; (b) are the edits being made something that users won't care about seeing in their watchlists anyway? — xaosflux Talk 20:43, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @xaosflux! (a) The bot will have a slightly larger scope — I would like to have it be able to watch/edit meta pages with the prefix Special:PrefixIndex/Machine_learning_models. (Context here is that WMF wants to be alerted if anyone has complaints about our ML services, and this bot will route those emails to a channel we can keep track of, as well as potentially post talk page redirects, etc.) And (b) probably not — most of the edits from this bot will be posting static ORES model cards for models that are not being actively updated. After that, this bot will mostly be a talk page/discussion aggregator. — HTriedman (WMF) (talk) 20:55, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@HTriedman (WMF) thank you, sounds fine enough - standard commentary period for any other community feedback open. — xaosflux Talk 23:15, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
