I am a sysop and bureaucrat on Incubator (and on Judeo-Spanish [Ladino] Wikipedia). I am requesting permanent but limited adminship here to help in the RFL area. We tend to have a lot of overlapping vandalism between Incubator and this particular area of Meta. Accordingly, I would want to be able to delete spurious request pages, block users, etc., where I am seeing an overlap with a parallel run of vandalism on Incubator. I do not intend to use the admin toolbox here for any other purpose, except perhaps to use rollback in the case of obvious vandalism (as I would on any other project where I have rollback, like enwiki and simplewiki). If at any time I cease to be a sysop at Incubator I would expect to give up this adminship as well. StevenJ81 (talk) 16:12, 31 January 2017 (UTC)

- I don't see any harm with this request (as long as it is bound to the incubator adminship). --Vogone (talk) 18:06, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
- Support. I trust Steven and he correctly describes the vandalism situation. I think this would be a very good use case for the "limited adminship" which our policy supports. --MF-W 00:26, 1 February 2017 (UTC)

- Support I trust StevenJ81 to deal with this vandalism. PiRSquared17 (talk) 23:38, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
- Support Legitimate request by trusted user. I have noticed the vandalism pattern mentioned, and think this kind of help from someone involved with incubator will be valuable.—Ah3kal (talk) 08:19, 2 February 2017 (UTC)

- Support, I think he can use correctly this bit. He has already also sysop on incubator and he understands the policies. --Ks-M9 [disc.] 01:44, 5 February 2017 (UTC).
- This seems like a reasonable scope for limited adminship, and I trust the user to use the bit properly. – Ajraddatz (talk) 01:55, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

- Support I'd not object to regular adminship, either. Courcelles 20:43, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
Done - Indefinite limited adminship, bundled to Incubator adminship for the tasks mentioned in this request. —MarcoAurelio 20:46, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
