Tell us about how you contribute currently, and how you would contribute if WMF were to gift a used laptop to you.

I am applying for laptop donation because the one I have been used regularly as an active contributor to Wikimedia projects for over the past 4 years became faulty, its battery has been died, it works very very slowly, and I am unable to procure myself another one because of my financial issues.  I am engaging in various projects both online and offline.  

If Wikimedia Foundation gifted a Laptop to me, it will be very important to me, this will help to increase more my contributions, it will also be useful in organizing trainings, meetups, edit a thons, ...... to Wikimedia User Rwanda community members who are not more experienced .

I am in need of the Laptop because of the following:

  • I have been selected to follow Campaigns/Organizer Lab, and I use it to follow courses and doing my assignments,..
  • As someone who is engaging in various wikimedia projects I plan to increase my contributions
  • I used to be invited in different online meetings, I would like to attend them regularly and on time,
  • I will be able to participe in differents trainings ........

Add the existing Wikimedia projects (Wikipedia, Commons, etc.) and language versions that you seek to impact with this equipment.

I started contributing to wikimedia projects since 2019, I am very active contributer on Wikimedia projects such us :

- Wikipedia, WikiCommons, Wikidata,

- I have contributions on Wikiquote,

- LinguaLibre,...

- Am a member of Wiki Loves women focus group,
